BaggagePIN
retail is our off site SMS activation version.
The retail version is sold by BaggagePIN agents and is activated using a simple
text (SMS) message sent to our activation server.
After receiving a n activation text (SMS) message the activation server creates
a new BaggagePIN account. The mobile telephone which sends the original
activation request is used as the owners preferred method of contact.
Once this process has been completed (around 5 seconds) the activation server
send a reply to the original mobile telephone number. The reply contains the
new owners BaggagePIN account password.
At this point, the owner can be traced.
If the new owners baggage becomes mislaid and subsequently found, the
owner can be contacted using the mobile telephone number provided by the
owner at the time of activation. The complete instructions for accessing your
