Refund policy
Our no quibble refund policy allows you to cancel your membership anytime up to 7 days from the date of purchase. We will refund your entire membership fee to your bank account with no questions asked. All we will need you to supply is the electronic transaction number, that was issued to you, your name and, for security reasons your Baggage PIN© code, answers to your security questions and we will then refund your membership fee. It’s that simple.Your contract starts from the date you purchased your membership from www.Baggage PIN.com
Services
This Agreement details the terms and conditions that are associated with the usage of membership codes.
Members of Baggagepin.com have provided personal contact information to enable baggage agents to identify them as the legal owner of their baggage that may have become separated from them during transport or whilst in transit.
Lost baggage is defined as baggage that has become separated from the legal owner, having arrived at an incorrect destination or airport. The Baggage PIN© code enables authorised baggage agents to identify the legal ownership of lost baggage in a timely manner.
- Baggagepin.com agrees to make available to their authorised agents the most up to date membership contact information
- Membership contact information is maintained on a secure server. It is the responsibility of members to ensure that their personal contact information is kept up to date at all times
- Access to the Baggage PIN© web portal is available on a 24 x 7 x 365, subject to any adverse Internet service provider conditions
- Baggagepin.com is a virtual business operating from the UK. The company is not a registered ISP and is dependant on third party Internet service providers in order to deliver baggage owner information to the point of need
Terms and conditions of usage
Members may update their contact profiles by entering their email address and unique Baggage PIN© ID code into the appropriate boxes available under the user login area and then submitting to http://www.Baggagepin.com web portal.
Baggagepin.com is registered with the Data Protection Agency. Responsibility for the storage and security of members' contact information delivered via their web portal. It is a member's responsibility to update their personal contact information at anytime.
Every precaution is taken to ensure that no viruses or adverse material is ever propagated by the web portal to members.
No responsibility for any member’s personal loss either financial or physical whilst travelling is taken by Baggage PIN Ltd. Neither will Baggage PIN Ltd bare any responsibility for any loss of data that their members may suffer as a result of connecting to the
Baggagepin .com web-portal.
A member of a government control authority or relevant authority has the right to ask an authorised agent to access member contact information via the Baggagepin.com web portal, and when required to do so, will make specific member contact information available to them.
Service availability: Baggage PIN Ltd will ensure that their web portal services are available on a 24 x 7 x 365.
Definitions and interpretation
In this Agreement (except where the context otherwise requires) the following words and expressions will have the following meanings:
"Agreement" means the Schedule, Appendix 1 and this Appendix 2.
"Baggage PIN Ltd" refers to the managing operator of Baggagepin.com
"Baggage PIN Ltd" means the principle business owning Baggagepin.com and all associated members and agent information and services.
"Web Portal" refers to http://www.Baggagepin.com used by authorised agents and members to identify baggage owner contact information.
"Confidential Information" means all personal contact information provided by members of Baggagepin.com and is stored on a https// secure environment .Concerning information belonging to, relating to or generated by a party, including information concerning customers, authorised agents, intellectual property, and financial results received by any party as a result of entering into or performing duties as part of this contract agreement.
Including confidential business Information and any data concerning the Services provided by Baggage Pin Ltd that the company may pursuant in respect of this Authorised Agent Agreement.
“Effective Term of Contract” means the start and termination dates that a member has agreed to purchase.
The title of a member is only active during the start and termination dates of this contract.
“The Baggage Pin Code” Baggage Pin codes are unique to members. Codes are issued for life of but remain the property of Baggage PIN Ltd. Members' codes will be stored at Baggagepin.com, and reactivated when members purchase future membership periods.
“Membership Expiry”.
A member may renew their membership period on payment of the appropriate fee. Their unique Baggage Pin code will be reactivated by Baggagepin.com on completion of the financial transaction.
“Access Charges” Membership Charges applicable to Baggagepin.com web portal.
“Contact Details” Refers to member contact information that is stored by Baggagepin.com
Membership service levels
Service levels shall be as follows:
Out of hours faults may be reported via emails or phone by agents to Baggage PIN© and will be investigated during the next working day.
Obligations
Baggage PIN Ltd will provide members with unique codes known as the Baggage PIN© code tag. The financial liability associated with member services will remain at all times between Baggage PIN© and its members.
Baggage PIN Ltd will not be liable for reward or compensation whatsoever to the finder of any lost object.
Baggage PIN Ltd shall not be liable if, through fraud, deceit or other means, a person or persons falsely claiming to have lost a particular item obtain such item through use of this site.
Baggage PIN Ltd shall have no liability whatsoever for any damages, including without limitation actual and consequential damages, that you may sustain or incur as a result of the delivery or non-delivery of any lost item,
Baggage PIN Ltd has not made any express or implied warranty concerning the return or condition of any lost or mislaid baggage item.
Baggage PIN Ltd neither guarantees nor insures the return of any lost item or the condition of any lost item that may be returned to you.
Refund policy
Baggage PIN Ltd undertakes to refund a membership fee including the VAT, up to 7 days after the initial transaction.
Where a customer requests a refund of their membership fee, proof of purchase will be required along with a copy of the electronic transfer receipt emailed at point of purchase, name and address including the Baggage PIN© code supplied and date sent.
Refunds will be made electronically with funds being sent to the members bank account used to at the time of purchasing the service.
Service suspension
Baggage PIN Ltd reserves the right to suspend access to the Baggagepin.com member web portal where a member has violated the terms of their contract, or where a member has intentionally provided incorrect personal information for the purposes of defrauding the Inland Revenue via tax avoidance or to assume a false identity. Proven violations of trust will result in the removal and suspension of a member’s personal identification number on a permanent basis.
If an authorised agent sends any content or communication which is unlawful or in breach of their contract terms and conditions, Baggage PIN Ltd retains the right to terminate their usage of the web portal.
Price and Payment
Under this contract members are provided access to the Baggagepin.com web portal for the duration of their membership period.
Limitations of Liability
Neither party will have any liability to the other for any claim for (a) loss of revenue or profits; (b) loss of anticipated savings; (c) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (d) loss of business opportunity; (e) losses suffered by third parties; or (f) indirect, consequential or special loss or damage, in each case regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, strict liability or tort (including negligence), and regardless of whether the party knew or had reason to know of the possibility of the loss, injury, or damage in question.
Term
This Agreement commences on the Effective Date and will continue for the membership period purchased.
Termination
This contract agreement may be terminated within 7 days of payment by the member.
Confidentiality
Baggage PIN Ltd will maintain the confidentiality of members' contact information at all times. Members' confidential Information may only be used for the specific purpose of identifying baggage ownership. Membership information will be provided to a member of a control authority’s, police, customs and excise, immigration services, during the pursuit of their duties. Neither party shall disclose the other party's Confidential Information to any third party.
Relationship
This contract agreement does not constitute a partnership between Baggage PIN Ltd and any member or authorised agent.
Entire Agreement.
This contract agreement constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between Baggage PIN Ltd and its member’s in respect of their membership.
Privacy statement
The following is a statement about our privacy policy concerning the personal information we collect about you.
It is the policy of Baggage PIN Limited, the owner of this site, to act in accordance with current legislation and to meet the current best practice on the Internet. Our aim is to be responsible, relevant and secure when using your data.
In order for you to use this site and to enable us to provide you with the best possible experience we ask you to "Register". We ask you to submit contact information such as your name, address, postcode, email address and (optional) mobile phone number. We offer a paid for service and use Protx and Lloyds CardNet for our online high secure transactions.
Whenever you provide such personal information, we will treat that information in accordance with this policy. We endeavour at all times to keep your data accurate and secure. The functionality of Baggage PIN© depends on other agencies gaining access to your submitted data.
Our web sites allow you to view the personal information you have provided to us and amend/delete it and your data preferences at any time. In addition every communication from us to you will include an option for you to stop receiving that form of communication.
We automatically log some personal data, via cookies, and we link that information with personal data you have supplied to us.
We collect data for the following purposes: technical administration of the web site, to enhance your experience of the site, and customer service. All of the above are subject to your stated preferences.

Our Web site enables our elected agencies to communicate with you for the service which you have registered for.
Disclosure and visitor choice
From time to time, we may send you information about our products that we think may interest you, by email. In order for you to receive such information you will have chosen not to opt out of such communications at the point where we collected your data.
Confidentiality/security
We have a number of security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from unauthorised or improper use or from accidental loss.
